So the other day I ended up at a practise session. And I was welcomed into the strangest place I've ever come across. It was somewhere between a cave and a secret island paradise with extraordinary pieces from both.
And I finally felt that perks-of-being-a-wallflower movie moment of belonging to some weird thing that's elitist in a whole new light. It was beautiful.
I felt out of sorts but also so focused and centralised into this world, it changed my attitude quite a bit. So now I'm left feeling positive and happy and grateful, and it's a great place to be. I feel like this year could be truly awesome if I just let it. Yeah, I do miss them all, but that too is pleasant. Because I know I'll see them again. I love you guys :)

Oh juniors...
So, I admit it's been a while *sorry*
I've been crazy busy.
So I spent yesterday chairing some junior debates, and I must admit that by the last one I was really over the stock standard intros and stock standard to very low standard speeches. Juniors seem to really struggle when it comes to generating matter.
The motions were:
1) This house would ban nuclear energy (yes kids, that INCLUDES nuclear weaponry)
2) THW implement sin tax on fast food (no that doesn't have anything at all to do with deforestation)
The second motion fizzled out into something about the environment (not the harm guys) and culling all the cows in the world. (yeah missed it again)
It was awkward because I had to hide all the awkward mean things I wrote in my notes when I gave them their feedback. Awkward.
